TRANSLATION, APOSTILLE AND LEGALIZATION OF DOCUMENTS

Every public document requires certain conditions to be valid in another country. This is reciprocal for all countries.

- It must be TRANSLATED by a sworn interpreter/translator recognized in the destination country.

- It must be APOSTILLED or LEGALIZED. Depending on whether both countries are signatories to the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961.

Between countries that are signatories to the Convention = THE DOCUMENT IS APOSTILLED by the competent authorities in the country of origin.

Among the other countries = it must be legalized by the Consular Office of the destination country with jurisdiction in the country in which the document was issued.
